Structure and Management

a) Establishment of the Trust

In order to pursue funding opportunities and in the interest of good governance, we have registered this Trust (IT 430/2010).  We are also registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO 930 033 817) and are not for profit (NPO 081-501).

All of our Trustees are volunteers and will meet every two-three months to ensure tracking of all activities by the Trust.

d) Funding Committee

The funding-committee meetings will be conducted as two extended Trustee meetings (see above).  It will be made up of Trustees, the Management team and possibly elected representatives of the community.

e) Dissemination and Marketing

Appreciation event An annual donors appreciation day event.
E-bulletin newsletters Sent out 4 times a year with an aim to celebrate achievements and will feature positive testimonies.
Website It features the background and vision; an archive of old newsletters; contact and fundraising/donation pages.
A facebook page Highlighting current events and opportunities.
Twitter feed Which aims to raise the awareness.
Press releases Sent out to local, national and international newspapers and radio.

f) Volunteers

A team of volunteers are invited to participate in activities, workshops and events throughout the year. Opportunities to do so will be advertised on the website and social media.
